Cover:
Craft up to 7 metres
• The insurance covers accidental damage to the vessel (subject
to an excess) and legal liability (up to £2 million, £1
million for water-skiers).
• Cover is extended to cover continental use for up to 30
days any one year.
• Craft must be taken ashore and properly secured when not
in use.
• Craft fitted with inboard motors and designed for speeds
in excess of 17 knots must also be fitted with an automatic extinguishing
system.
Craft over 7 metres
• The insurance covers accidental damage to the vessel (subject
to an excess) and legal liability (up to £2 million, £1
million for water-skiers).
• Personal effects in a locked area are covered for limited
perils.
• Craft must be properly secured when not in use.
• Craft fitted with inboard motors and designed for speeds
in excess of 17 knots must also be fitted with an automatic extinguishing
system.
